Loving these two songs that are featuring Taylor Swift.

1) Half of my Heart – John Mayer

2) Two is Better Than One – Boys like Girls

I like her better in the second song cos in the John Mayer’s one, she’s almost drowned out. Battle Studies, the new album by John Mayer is amazing though.

Two movies and dinner tonight! I seriously live for the weekends. And three more weeks till I get some sunshine and time to rest! Can’t wait! xxxxx

So after the past week, I feel like life cannot get any tougher. Haha. Well at least not while I’m still in law school. Last week was crazy stressful hectic right up to Friday itself and I’ve never been more glad it’s the weekend! Even though I say that now, I’m sure the next few weeks aren’t going to be easy. Especially when property essay and ACT exam week comes up. Oh wells, I’ll handle that when it comes along. Slept half the day away today after yesterday’s chicken rice + guitar hero + poker night. Lazy rest of the day spent talking to parents, watching Gossip Girl, Friends, ASOS shopping, easy meal with housemates and household chores. I LOVE saturdays. Especially when it’s wet and rainy outside and you know you don’t have to go out.  ;)

Anyway here are two songs I’m loving at the moment. Enjoy! (:

Michael Buble – Haven’t Met You Yet

I’ve always needed one guy to prove to me that they are all not the same. And a while ago I thought I finally met that guy. And let’s just say he wasn’t the one to prove me wrong. So maybe I just haven’t met “you” yet. (:

Leona Lewis – Happy

I’m not going to play “life” safe. Sure it is great when you never get hurt. But how would you know what happiness is like if you’ve never tasted disappointment? I’m risking it all to be happy.

Have a good week! <3

Always loved his rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. And I want a camera like that! <3

Anyways, lovely song to start a busy busy week! GO GO GO! :D

Because one day the stone heart melts too. I should know He’s the only one who could do it.

It’s a really long video but if you have ten minutes to spare, do watch it. It brings sacrifice into a whole new light.

My child, it hurts me to lose my son. It wasn’t easy and now you understand. Yet if I have to do it all over again, I will because I love you. Yesterday, today, tomorrow.

Was on my way to bed when I happened to chance upon this video.

Amazingly unexpected. I guess all Malaysians need reminders like these to remember why we still love this place we call home, why when we leave we know that someday we’re going to come back, how we use to love our “tanah air” when we were younger and knew nothing about dirty politics, why when we’re overseas we absolutely love talking about Malaysia to people from different countries.

I’ve been wanting to write a post on the whole 1Malaysia thing and how certain recent events have made me so fed up. But this video made me understand that no matter what happens, home is here. Not to say I’m not going to blog about everything that has been going on lately but just not a right time to tonight. 3 am and still up, duty at church for both services tomorrow morning – bible reading and sunday school (one needs alertness and the other energy) which means I have only about 5 hours of sleep left! Definitely needing God’s strength to get through tomorrow! So till the next time the blogging bug hits! (:

He’s so good-looking, I think in 10 years he’s going to be such a heartbreaker! And he so so looks like Wentworth Miller! LOL. Kinda bummed I’m missing the finals tomorrow but no matter what happens, he’s my winner for Britain’s Got Talent! ;)

My Jayson-boy turns 8 today. And I miss him so so much.

He’s wearing glasses now. Sometimes I feel like he’s growing up without me and I’m missing out on being there for him.

And then there are times when I feel that he doesn’t really need me anyway. I called him up last night and sang happy birthday over the phone and he went “Oh. I want to watch TV now. Bye.” LOL.

Nah am in just one of those moods. I think it’s tiredness from revision combined with dad AND jayson’s birthday being this weekend and I’m not there and the fact I haven’t spoken to them in a week.

Anyway, WATCH THIS!

Combination of Love Story by Taylor Swift and Viva la Vida by Coldplay. AMAZING. At first I was a bit skeptical but it’s seriously so good! I’ve been listening to it on repeat endless times.

(:

Right now as I type this, I’m trying to freaking cut 169 words out of my essay. This is probably the worst part of writing an essay; finishing footnotes, references, amending words – so close to finishing but because of the stupid word count you just keep reading the essay over and over trying to find words to cut out. An unnecessary ‘the’, an out-of-place ‘a’, is this sentence relevant or can I sacrifice it? Sigh. Macam nak korbankan kambing. LOL. Never mind, the crabbiness is kicking in.

  • The enemy knows what hurts me the most. And he knows how to use that to get to me. But I believe my Jesus is stronger than anything and with Him, I CAN break this stronghold. “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (: Can’t remember the verse though. :P
  • Sometimes Actually more like right now, I look at my life and I say, “Typical. So damn typical. This is like the story of my life or something.” And I don’t mean it in a good way. :(
  • The Fray’s new album is goooooood. Only if you liked the previous and you like this genre of music. A personal favourite is Syndicate.
  • I cannot sleep before 2 am anymore. My body clock has completely gone haywire. :?
  • Truth to be told, as much as I want to go home, I’m a little afraid. I’m afraid to come home and find that everything has changed, people have moved on without me, awkward silences, having nothing to talk to my brothers about anymore. Little things that are going to upset me.

A headstart on what I’ve been wanting to blog about last week are these three videos. Isn’t it funny how interesting things like these always come your way when you’re rushing an assignment or you have an exam to study for and cause you to procrastinate? Okay, maybe just me then. Lol.

*IF YOU DON’T WATCH ANY OF THESE VIDEOS, JUST AT LEAST WATCH THE LAST ONE. IT IS SO SO WORTH IT.

I bet the whole world has heard of Susan Boyle by now but if you haven’t then watch this. ;)

And here are some touching adverts from Singapore directed by Yasmin Ahmad.

“In the end, it’s these small things that you remember. The little imperfections that make them perfect… for you.”

The thing is…. didn’t you know how I felt about you and don’t you know you’ll always mean something to me?

I watched this two times in four days. And I might even watch it again later this week. This is such a gooooood movie. So fun AND funny and sweet all at the same time. I have to say I was a bit put off with Pierce Brosnan singing though – he sounds a little constipated. Lol.

Here’s one of my fav scenes from the movie :

I also love the scene she was on the boat with her dads and when she was getting ready for the wedding. And also when she was singing “Honey Honey”. Ahhhhh I love this movie!

I want the soundtrack!!! :D

Okay chop chop time to do some work now! Everyone here is so hardcore that it scares me. Blog soon! xxx
