I like her better in the second song cos in the John Mayer’s one, she’s almost drowned out. Battle Studies, the new album by John Mayer is amazing though.

Two movies and dinner tonight! I seriously live for the weekends. And three more weeks till I get some sunshine and time to rest! Can’t wait! xxxxx

I just haven’t met you yet ;)

So after the past week, I feel like life cannot get any tougher. Haha. Well at least not while I’m still in law school. Last week was crazy stressful hectic right up to Friday itself and I’ve never been more glad it’s the weekend! Even though I say that now, I’m sure the next few weeks aren’t going to be easy. Especially when property essay and ACT exam week comes up. Oh wells, I’ll handle that when it comes along. Slept half the day away today after yesterday’s chicken rice + guitar hero + poker night. Lazy rest of the day spent talking to parents, watching Gossip Girl, Friends, ASOS shopping, easy meal with housemates and household chores. I LOVE saturdays. Especially when it’s wet and rainy outside and you know you don’t have to go out.  ;)

These little things that I miss

My Jayson-boy turns 8 today. And I miss him so so much. 

He’s wearing glasses now. Sometimes I feel like he’s growing up without me and I’m missing out on being there for him.

And then there are times when I feel that he doesn’t really need me anyway. I called him up last night and sang happy birthday over the phone and he went “Oh. I want to watch TV now. Bye.” LOL. 

Nah am in just one of those moods. I think it’s tiredness from revision combined with dad AND jayson’s birthday being this weekend and I’m not there and the fact I haven’t spoken to them in a week.

The end is such a scary place to start

I am falling in love with Jason Reeves’s music.

I first heard about him because of Colbie Caillat. They did two songs together.

Both really nice chill out songs. But I never listened to his other songs until now. And I wondered why I never did before. It’s awesome and he’s really good. Okay, in my opinion it’s very similar to Colbie’s kinda style. But if you like her music I think you’ll definitely like his. I wanted to put up the music video for Photographs and Memories but I couldn’t find it.

This is a live version of Someone Somewhere. One of my favs from him. 

Other ones I liked are The End, Just Friends, You in a Song and The Sun Shines on Everything. Photograph and Memories is a bit too slow for my liking. Old Fashioned Letters is also a little on the slow side but I like it though.

Awesome weekend. Played with children a lot. Knowing Me event at church was fun. Tiring but fun nonetheless. Proves how much I’m going to miss out during VBS at the end of this year.

Kindy kids! Everyone loves the kindys right right?

Pastor was SO good with the children. We didn’t have a plan for the kindys during the Knowing Me event. Was just going to feed them, let them watch TV and make some fan/flower thingy. We didn’t anticipate the event dragging so long and the kids getting restless. So Pastor stepped in and danced, sang and played games with them. Omgosh I think if she wasn’t there I don’t think we would know what else to do. And she had so much energy! At one point, we just kept singing all the children worship songs we could think of, together with actions. I was already half dead from that. We made a BIG mistake of feeding them chocolate biscuits earlier in the evening. They had a serious sugar rush! I want to post the videos I took of them dancing(elephant dance! LOL.) but I think the other teachers would kill me. Haha.

 

Youngest brother’s favourite songs. But can’t say I don’t love Hillsong Kids a lot too.

If the children church happen to sing this song one of those Sundays, the rest of the day he’ll be singing “Better than Spiderman. Yeah, yeah, yeahhhhhh!” XD
